Locked Out / Gain Entry

Keys lost, locked inside, or a key snapped in the barrel — we get you back through your own front door. We pick or bypass the lock wherever it can be done, so in most cases the existing lock and door are left completely undamaged.

From

£39

up to £250+ depending on the job

Lock Repair

For locks that still work but are fighting you — stiff keys, a latch that will not catch, a barrel that spins or jams. We strip, clean and re-adjust the mechanism so it runs properly again, which is usually far cheaper than a full replacement.

From

£39

up to £249+ depending on the job

uPVC Lock Repair

uPVC doors fail in their own particular ways: drooping handles, a lock that only engages when you lift and shove, or a euro cylinder that has worn out. We repair the handle, cylinder and locking points rather than replacing the whole door.

From

£69

up to £249+ depending on the job

uPVC Door Lock Adjustment

uPVC frames move with the seasons, and a door that sat perfectly in winter can bind by mid-summer. We realign the hinges, keeps and multi-point mechanism so the door closes and locks cleanly without being forced.

From

£79

up to £229+ depending on the job

Lock Change (Supply & Fit)

A complete new lock supplied and fitted in one visit — the standard fix after losing keys, moving into a new place, or an old tenant or builder keeping a copy. The price covers both the hardware and the installation.

From

£88

up to £475+ depending on the job

Standard Deadbolt & Cylinders

Quality everyday security locks for internal doors, outbuildings, garages and anywhere that does not need to satisfy an insurer. Solid, reliable hardware fitted properly, without paying for a specification you do not need.

From

£29

up to £299+ depending on the job

British Standard Deadbolt & Cylinders

BS3621 kitemarked locks — the specification most UK home insurers ask for on final exit doors. Anti-snap, anti-drill and anti-pick as standard, so the lock resists the methods burglars actually use on British doors.

From

£109

up to £350+ depending on the job

Gearbox Mechanism / Full Multi-point

When the strip running down the edge of a uPVC or composite door fails, the hooks and rollers stop throwing and the door can no longer be locked at all. We replace the gearbox or the entire multi-point strip and reset the alignment.

From

£89

up to £375+ depending on the job

Garage & Window Locks

The entry points people forget until they matter: up-and-over and side garage doors, plus window handles, espagnolette bolts and restrictors. We repair or replace seized and broken hardware and can fit key-locking handles for security and child safety.

From

£59

up to £249+ depending on the job

Assessment / Cancellation Fee

Charged only if you cancel after the locksmith has already arrived on site. If the work goes ahead, this does not apply.

Pricing questions

Why is each service shown as a range?

The cost depends on the lock type, the door, and what the job actually needs. The range shows the realistic span; your exact price is confirmed by phone after the engineer assesses the job.

What is the assessment fee?

If you cancel after the locksmith has already arrived on site, a fixed £49.00 assessment fee applies. If you go ahead with the work, it does not apply.

Can you give me an exact price before the engineer arrives?

We will tell you which range your job falls into as soon as you describe it on the phone. The exact figure is confirmed once the engineer has seen the lock and the door, because that is the only point at which anyone can be certain what the job involves.

Does the price include the new lock itself?

Yes — supply-and-fit prices cover the hardware as well as the labour. If your door needs a specific brand or specification, we confirm that parts cost with you before anything is ordered or fitted.

What happens if the job turns out to be bigger than expected?

We stop and talk to you before going any further. You will never be billed for extra work you did not agree to, and you are free to decline the additional work at that point.

Are your British Standard locks accepted by home insurers?

The BS3621 kitemarked deadlocks and cylinders we fit are the specification most UK home insurance policies ask for on final exit doors. If your insurer has named a particular requirement, tell us on the call and we will fit to it.

Are you available at night, at weekends and on bank holidays?

Yes. We run 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, including Christmas and New Year — lockouts do not keep office hours, and neither do we.

Do you price up car or vehicle lockouts?

No. We work on home, office and safe locks only, so every price on this page is for property rather than vehicles. You can see the full list on our services page.

Do you cover my area?

We cover towns and cities right across the United Kingdom. Check the covered areas page for your location, or simply call and we will tell you straight away.
